Project & Training
A built-in programme of industrial interaction through project work
is provided in the curriculum. Each student is exposed for a period
of 8-10 weeks to corporate environment at an appropriate level of
the conduct of the programme. Each student submits a project report
on a chosen subject under the joint supervision of faculty and corporate
managers. These reports are shared in the form of presentations by
the entire batch. Also, a detailed research project forms an integral
part of the programme wherein the students are expected to carry out
original research under the guidance of member of the faculty.
Management Development Programmes
Management development programmes are conducted periodically on topical
issues.
Placement (Pre-placement, Campus Interviews, and Lateral Placements)
Pre-placement activities focus on training students individually and
in groups for sound grooming, improving presentation skills, and effective
group discussion participations. The students are also exposed to
mock interviews to enable them to have an idea of real life placement
situations. Campus interviews by the corporate sector are also arranged.
Our graduates are readily and suitably placed in the various corporates
like Tata Infomedia Ltd., ABN AMRO, Standard Chartered Bank, Citicorp,
HSB, HDFC, Britannia Industries, United Breweries Group, Nokia, Dabur,
Ranbaxy, Times of India, Coco Cola Ltd., Hughes, Escorts, Raymond's,
etc.
Counselling
Counselling is offered to students in convenient groups on personality
development and career planning. Individual counselling is also done
for needy students as per specific requirements.
Synergy
Synergy is an annual feature of the School. It is organized to provide
right type of opportunities to the students whereby they can express
and develop their capabilities and cultural talents on a single platform
with active participation of top business/industrial houses, eminent
academicians, and business executives. Panel discussions are also
held on topics of current interest, followed by cultural events.
