News Reporting: An important aspect of the learning environment is the coverage of stories on the spot. Students are encouraged to do the legwork and report outdoor events first hand and when they happen. The students are deputed to an event and asked to report it as if writing for a newspaper or for broadcast over Television. This exposure along with the experience gained during the Internship provides a hands on experience to students and equips them to handle such assignments when fresh in the job.
Industry Assignments:
Television- Various industry bodies and firms approach this institute seeking student involvement in their various projects. Examples: South Asian Film Festival and Wild Screen Film Festival.
Advertising/ PR/ Event Management: The institute also undertakes special projects for various advertising agencies and PR / Event Management Firms such as : PR for Relaunch of Navbharat Times, an event organized by showbiz; Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award by Wizcraft.
