“Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication celebrates 50 years of Doordarshan with a National Seminar on ‘Public Service Broadcasting ( PSB ) : Challenges Ahead’ – November 2009.”

Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC), a unit of the Apeejay Institute of Management & Information Technology was set up from the academic year 2003. The exponential growth in the entertainment and media industry has necessitated the need to set up an independent state-of-the-art Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication catering to the growing demands of students interested in pursuing career in print journalism, advertising, public relations, event management and also acquiring necessary skills in Television News, Videography, Video Editing programme making and programming for Bollywood.
