ACTIVITIES

Counselling
For continuous counselling of each and every student at the Institute throughout his/her stay a student advisory system has been devised. In this system teachers are appointed as advisor for batch of 15-20 students and a chief counsellor is appointed to coordinate activities of the advisors. Through this system advisor provide guidance and encourage students to build up a balanced personality.

Corporate Relation Cell
Corporate Relation Cell consisting of three faculty members has been constituted for intensifying and escalating interaction with the industry.

Project and Training
Under the University Curriculum, all students of MBA and BBA have to undergo a mandatory 6-8 weeks "On-The-Job" training in commercial undertakings after the end of their second and fourth semester respectively. Similarly, MCA students have to undergo one semester training during their sixth semester. During "On-The-Job" training, these students are expected to be familiar with the work culture and get an insight into the practical problem of the concerned organization. Further, during their training, students have to complete the assignment on a project, which is related to some practical problem.

Further MBA students have also to complete a field study and present a detailed report under the supervision of a faculty member during their fourth semester.

Personality Development Programme
Personality Development Programme (PDP) for all classes are compulsory in which activities related placement like Communication Skills, Extempore, Group Discussion, Mock Interviews, Technical and Aptitude Test, and Latest Trends etc. are organized.

Intra Institute Competitions
The students of the institutes are encouraged to participate in various competitions, so as to develop their overall personality. To hunt talent and motivate students, intra institute competitions are held regularly.

Academic: The management department of the Institute organises the contest to develop the managerial skill of the students. The events held in the contest include Group Discussion, Quiz, Ad mad show, and Case Study. The Department of Computer Applications of the Institute organises the contest to develop the technical skill of the students. The events held in the contest are Computer Quiz, Logic Testing, Case Study on System Analysis & Design, Net Savvy, Paper Presentation, Website Development, Software Development-Application Generation Event and Case Study on RDBMS.
Cultural: The Institute organises the competitions for students to rangoli, chart presentation, choreography, singing, dancing etc.
Sports: Apeejay Students Sports Club (ASSC) of the Institute organises the various competitions on regular basis like Cricket, Volley ball, Basket Ball, Chess, Badminton, Table Tennis etc.
