| The basic element and philosophy of Design is
Universal - only its adaptability and application changes from Region
to Region, Country to Country. Over the years, the Institute has evolved its own Procedures and Methodologies in imparting "Design Education" - giving the student all opportunities to explore, support for Research, occasions for interaction with Professionals, Artisans and Industry, thereby helping them to identify with themselves, their inherent capabilities, realise their dreams and the freedom to paint a rainbow in their own colours - not necessarily VIBGYOR. An area like "Design Education" cannot be regimented and bound within academic procedures. It is a Thought Process, which needs freedom to Think, Express and Evolve. The basic fact is, it is wedded to the Market and Industry Requirements, Demands and Changes. It touches the life of even the man walking on the street, not only the elite.
