Eligibility Xllth Pass with 45% marks from CBSE, CSC, Punjab Board or equivalent.
Duration 4 year (8 Semesters)

Working Schedule 19 weeks - 570 Contad hours per semester
Mode of Study Theory, Practical, Workshops, Studio Classes and Design project. Areas of Study comprises Computer based Multimedia applications for Print and Electronic Media including Photography, Film Shooting, Animation, Copy Writing and Editing.
Internship Training 1 Summer Training between Semestar VI and Semestar VII
Industrial Training cum Placement VIII Semester

In the modern day commercial environment, the success of a product lies in its effective advertising both via the print and electronic media. The use of Multimedia applications in this area has given today's designer a distinct advantage over its predecessors.

The Bachelor in Multimedia course is designed to give complete knowledge and competency to the students, making them into effective communicators, both for the Print and Electronic Media. Extensive and in-depth knowledge of computer, use of Multimedia applications, Multimedia programming, Animation, Web page designing interalia are covered in detail. This along with exposure to Illustration, Graphics, Photography and Film Making make the course one of its kind.


This course gives students a distinct advantage for employment in Advertising, Print Media and Electronic Media such as Television, Film making, Web and Education, over those who have only done a short course in Multimedia.

With great demand for Visual Effect Designers, Layout artists and Animators among others, employment opportunities in today's computerised world are tremendous.
