Field visit “Garment Technology Expo ‘08”, “Building Materials & Construction” at Pragati Maidan, Railway Museum, Mehrauli Archeological Park, Anand Gram, at IIC to visit exhibition on “Kalamkari” , “Weaving from Kutch” by KHAMIR, & “Ajrakh Printing”, “Intercontinental Hotel Corporate Office”, “Exhibition of Furniture’s” at the Cultural Centre of Italian Embassy Workshop Carpentry workshop by Mr. Satish Sharma; a model maker , “Illustration” by Ms. Priya Nagrajan, “Waste Material” by Mr. Duttatray Apte, an eminent artist, “3D Mix Media Assembledge” by Mr. Rajendra Sharma, Club Activities The Cultural Club organized dance, singing, skit, instrumentals, fashion show & hairstyle competitions as part of club activity week. The Literary Club conducted Graffiti, Brand names, Pictionary, Fun Quiz & Memory games as a part of club activity week. Graffiti was organized on a huge wall encouraging students to give their opinions on the topic, “Purani Jeans aur Guitar”. The Sports Club organized a sports day as part of the club week and conducted various sports competitions like Basketball, 3 legged race, Catch the Balloon, Treasure Hunt and One minute games. The day ended with Tug of War. The Cultural club organized a Cultural Evening from 6 P.M. onwards. It started with a Welcome note followed by a duet dance performance. Fashion Show was the main attraction of the evening. “Tees Laakh”, a Hindi play, presented by the students, which was Written, Produced & Directed by Mr. Ashok Sen, Faculty. Competitions The Photography Club of the Institute organized a Photography Competition for all the students. The topic of the competition was “Expression of any one of the Rasa” Shanta, or Hasya, or Adbhuta.
